I always get a kick out of those Joe Rogan reaction videos (like this one) where the longtime UFC color commentator loses his shit during an epic knockout.
Probably because it’s the best way to convey what the live experience is like and when you’re invested in mixed martial arts (MMA), particularly in high-stakes contests, the results can have emotional implications.
And it makes for a more authentic broadcast.
I’m happy to report that former UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, is picking up right where Rogan — who only calls pay-per-view (PPV) events — left off. “The Count” handled color (after striking this deal) while Urijah Faber made his return against Ricky Simon.
As I’m sure you’re all aware by now, “The California Kid” captured a technical knockout win over the bantamweight upstart last Sat. night (July 13, 2019) in his backyard of Sacramento, Calif., in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 155 (replay here).
