Cameroon celebrates Francis Ngannou’s KO win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 260.

Fans in Francis Ngannou’s hometown of Batié, Cameroon erupted in celebration last night following ‘The Predator’s’ sensational knockout win over Stipe Miocic in the UFC 260 PPV main event.

Fans were seen jumping for joy at 5:15 am local time after Ngannou, who grew up in Cameroon as a miner, became the first Cameroonian champion in UFC history, flattening Miocic with a vicious left hook at 0:52 of the second round to win the UFC heavyweight title.

Ngannou is now on a five-fight win streak — finishing all of his opponents via KO — and just cemented himself as the ‘baddest man on the planet’. The 34-year-old has all the makings of a global superstar and could very well become one of, if not the, greatest heavyweight champion in UFC history, especially if he dispatches of Jon Jones in his first title defense.
