I never heard of Lil’ Pump because A) I’m lame and B) I’m over 40 and C) I’m still trying to figure out who Lil’ Yachty is. Fortunately, a quick search on YouTube led me to a rap video where some kid with fluorescent hair — and veneers that look like a row of urinals — grabbed more than a billion views for mumbling “Gucci Gang” ad nauseam.

If you’re wondering what this has to do with MMA, I’ll direct you to the embedded video above where Lil’ Pump met Big Chump, also known as UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington. “Chaos” had been talking all kinds of smack but then ran from the arena after losing to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 earlier this month in Las Vegas.
When and where Covington returns to the Octagon remains to be seen. Early reports listed a broken jaw that required a lengthy rehabilitation; however, details have been scant in the aftermath of his “Nigerian Nightmare” fight in “Sin City.”
