Ex-UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell did some pad work with Ray Sefo.
Chuck Liddell is going to be fighting longtime UFC rival Tito Ortiz for a third time later this fall, so as you would expect, “The Iceman” has begun his preparations for his first MMA fight since 2010, as he seeks a third win over Ortiz and his first MMA win since 2007.
Retired kickboxing standout and current Professional Fighters League president Ray Sefo recently posted video of him and Liddell doing some pad work. It’s only a 20-second clip, but here’s what a 48-year-old Chuck looks like in a cage, throwing punches and head kicks again.

Alright, chances are you are underwhelmed, concerned, and disheartened to see Liddell moving like he’s in slow motion. Sefo has an explanation for all of this.
People first of all that was the first time Chuck and I did pads together, secondly we were just moving around lightly so I don’t know why all the criticism when his fight isn’t till November. https://t.co/t0THNFKB1j

Liddell vs. Ortiz III is a pay-per-view event that will mark the first card for Oscar De La Hoya’s new Golden Boy MMA promotion. A venue is not yet official, neither is the PPV pricing nor details on what will be an MMA-only undercard.
