Cortez cornered Perez in an elevator at UFC 311, demanding she repeat some of the things she’d said in the past.

Tracy Cortez came hard at Ailin Perez during UFC 311, and we now have the footage to prove it.

Following Perez’s win over Karol Rosa in Los Angeles, the Argentinian twerk specialist revealed that Cortez had tried to start a fight with her leading up to the bout.

“She’s crazy. Every time she sees me, she wants to jump me,” Perez said. “I think she wants to be me. She is probably outside trying to maybe wait for a picture. She cannot believe how beautiful I am. I think she needs to go to the gym more.”

Cortez recounted the incident from her point of view, saying “What the f**k? ‘Boss b***h, you gonna do f***ing something?’ She didn’t do s**t. She tried to shake my hand, p**sy ass f**king b**ch. I said, ‘No. If you’re gonna f**king say something, stick to it.’”

Now we have footage of the confrontation from Perez (care of Full Send MMA), and Cortez really did get right up in her face.

“You’re very quiet,” Cortez said in Spanish.

“Are you talking to me?” Perez replied. “Yes, I’m focused on my fight.”

“What did you say? Remind me what did you say?” Cortez said as she followed Perez into an elevator. “You said you were going to kick my ass. Speak now! Speak now.”

“If she’s such a woman let her speak on her own,” Cortez continued as Perez’s corners tried to intervene. “You’re hiding, you f**king scoundrel!”

Perez spends the whole video smiling into her phone as the interaction played out. Right before you’re about to get paid to fight is no time to be getting into an elevator brawl, so we get why she didn’t throw down. But Tracy ain’t wrong, Ailin was awful quiet through the exchange.

Are we actually going to see these two fight? It will take someone being willing to change weightclasses for it to come together. Tracy Cortez fights at 125 pounds while Perez is at 135. Attempts from Perez to draw Cortez into an Octagon bout have gone unanswered.

You can add these two to the growing list of fighters UFC security needs to keep an eye on lest there be a rumble backstage or at the Performance Institute.
