Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis, whose claim to fame is being the jiu-jitsu coach of former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, was the victim of a “vicious” attack in New York City last weekend.
That’s according to a report from Daily Mail, which recently posted video of Danis getting slugged, seemingly out of nowhere.
Perhaps it was a Khabib fan?
“Dillon was just sitting down relaxing and that shirtless guy with the yellow garland just attacked him,” an eyewitness said. “I was scared. It was vicious.”
Danis appears to be okay.
“Another day in the life of Pablo,” he told Ariel Helwani.
Danis (2-0) has two wins under the Bellator MMA banner after making his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut back in early 2018, but is perhaps best known for being a troublemaker on social media.
And being one half of the UFC 229 post-fight brawl last October.
