Chad Johnson and Brian Maxwell went four rounds in their exhibition.
Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson got to experience life in a boxing ring when he took on Brian Maxwell in a four-round (two-minute rounds) exhibition to kick off the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul pay-per-view.
Maxwell, who’s fought in MMA, bare knuckle boxing, and once in boxing, looked to be outboxed by the 43-year-old, as Johnson actually showcased some not completely incompetent skill levels given his lack of experience and age.

However, in the final round Maxwell landed a right hook on his fellow southpaw and scored the fight’s lone knockdown. Johnson got up and beat the count, and saw it out to the final bell.
Since this was an exhibition and a knockout wasn’t recorded, no official winner was declared. It was sloppy and bizarre but also ‘Ochocinco’ looked a hell of a lot better than Nate Robinson did when he boxed Jake Paul.

Johnson talked about his experience in the ring and how he lost his [boxing] virginity. He also said he’s ready for Conor McGregor. I’ll leave it at that.
