Mayweather will return to the boxing ring in his first outing since an exhibition bout with Japanese kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa in Dec. 2018, which saw ‘TBE’ finish the RIZIN featherweight champion in the first round. His last pro bout, which took place in 2017, saw Mayweather TKO Conor McGregor at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to extend his undefeated record to 50-0.
Paul, 26, made his boxing debut in 2018 when he took on longtime YouTube rival KSI in an amateur bout that was scored a majority draw. The rematch, which saw both men make their professional boxing debuts, saw KSI earn a controversial split decision win.
Mayweather vs. Paul takes place this Sunday, June 6 at Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium.
