Rob Font and Cody Garbrandt face off ahead of their headlining bantamweight bout at UFC Fight Night 188.
It looks to be strictly business between Rob Font and Cody Garbrandt ahead of their bantamweight bout at UFC Fight Night 188, as neither man displayed any bad blood during today’s face-off at the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas.

Garbrandt will return to the Octagon in his first fight in almost a year, as the former UFC bantamweight champion hasn’t fought since his spectacular knockout of Raphael Assuncao at UFC 250. ‘No Love’ KO’d Assuncao to snap a three-fight losing streak and is confident that a win over Font sets him up for the next title shot.
Font, 33, has modestly climbed his way to No. 3 in the bantamweight rankings after amassing a three-fight win streak against Sergio Pettis, Ricky Simon, and former WSOF bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes. A win over Garbrandt could see the Central Massachusetts native go on to fight the winner of the all-but-confirmed rematch between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan for the bantamweight title.
UFC Fight Night: Font vs. Garbrandt takes place this Saturday, May 22 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
