American Top Team boss Dan Lambert brought big muscle to AEW Dynamite.
American Top Team (ATT) founder Dam Lambert returned to AEW Dynamite and he brought heavy-duty artillery in former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight titleholders Andrei Arlovski and Junior dos Santos.
Lambert returned to the program on Wed., Aug. 18 in Houston, Texas. He previously appeared on AEW Dynamite with UFC champ-champ Amanda Nunes and Jorge Masvidal in the crowd. Things took a turn for the worse when he cut a promo in the ring, leading to a beat down (watch here) by pro-wrestler Lance Archer.
A riled-up Lambert, clearing having the time of his life, took the microphone and deliver a scathing assessment of AEW programming and its fanbase. This led to Archer storming the ring; however, he was assaulted by AEW stars Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, the latter of whom competed in mixed martial arts (MMA) three times before focusing solely on pro-wrestling.
Lambert founded ATT in 2001. MMA stars that have trained under his banner include current and former UFC champions Nunes, Arlovski, JDS, Renan Barao, Joanna J?drzejczyk, Tyron Woodley and Petr Yan. Other notable fighters include Dustin Poirier, Kayla Harrison, Yoel Romero, Masvidal, Glover Teixeira, Kyoji Horiguchi, “King Mo” Muhammad Lawal and Bobby Lashley.
