Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, incorporates gymnastics into his mixed martial arts (MMA) training, so it’s no surprise to see him bouncing around the gym.
Even when he’s on vacation.
Unfortunately, the French-Canadian phenom is a bit rusty after spending so much time focusing on his Michael Bisping fight, which took place in the UFC 217 pay-per-view (PPV) main event earlier this month in New York City.
“Rush” choked out “The Count” to capture the 185-pound strap.
Where St-Pierre goes from here in unknown at this time. Robert Whittaker holds the division’s interim strap, but there are also opportunities in the welterweight division should the former 170-pound champion decide to return home.
Until then, both Tyron Woodley and Conor McGregor are expected to see action. The former is negotiating a fight for UFC 219 while the latter is planning to return at some point in early 2018.
