Bobby Green and Arman Tsarukyan want a piece of each other despite not being scheduled to collide inside the Octagon at UFC Austin this weekend (Sat., Dec. 2, 2023).
Presumably, Green’s previous reluctance towards a match up with the “f—king terrible” Lightweight contender, Tsarukyan, may have been what triggered their heated interaction today (Weds., Nov. 29, 2023). According to Green, he and the rising 155-pound star got into a bit of an exchange while he was alone taking care of some media obligations.
“S—t just getting started,” Green said in an Instagram story. “S—t’s just getting started, n—ga. Little b—chass n—ga right there. I’mma get you right there. Y’all ran up on me, n—ga. Y’all ran up on me, what’s up?!
“I ain’t be starting nothing with nobody, but if you start that s—t with me, I’m definitely gonna finish it,” he continued. “This s—t just starting. It’s just starting. N—ga might go to jail tonight. F—k around playing with me.”
Per SoCal News Group’s Brian Martin, he was conducting a phone interview with Green during the altercation, supporting some of Green’s claims. Security ultimately intervened, putting an end to Green’s interview.
Green and Tsarukyan both take top billing at UFC Austin, they just have different opponents. Originally set to face Dan Hooker in a five-round co-main event, Green was dealt a new opponent in the No. 12-ranked Jalin Turner after Hooker suffered a broken arm in training.
In the UFC Austin main event, Tsarukyan looks to further ascend the ranks by taking out perennial top contender, Beneil Dariush. The San Bernardino, California native, Green, might not have had an interest in Tsarukyan before, but should they both come out of UFC Austin victorious, the fight has now made itself.
“This b—chass n—ga ran up on me trying to start that s—t,” Green said. “He didn’t know I was gonna finish it. I socked one of his homies. Bop (laughs). Stop playing with me, bro. N—ga, we from ‘Dino. We from the ‘Dino where that s—t really goes down. You n—gas trying to do all that talking. Hey, I need somebody else too to tell me who that is in that video. I don’t know who the f—k he is, but he was acting super tough when the n—gas ran up on me by myself. They all ran up on me by myself and they was acting all that tough. As soon as I ran into the n—gas again with my n—gas then he was, ‘Oh, no, no.’
“Nah, nah, nah. You started this s—t,” he concluded. “Then soon as security come and all that s—t, now you want to act tough again.”
