Kevin Lee is taking advantage of the Tesla’s self-driving features.
The one-time UFC interim lightweight title challenger brushed up on his video game fighting skills while driving a Tesla. Lee, 27, can be seen playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on his Nintendo Switch while in the driver’s seat of a Tesla electric vehicle. Lee attached the Switch to his windshield for a 21st century gaming experience.
The Tesla has a sort of “autopilot” feature which can automate things like lane changes and cruise control while on long, straight routes such as a highway. Keep in mind, Telsa does not recommend such antics while in the driver’s seat. “Current Autopilot features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous,” Telsa’s website says.
Lee was on his way to Montreal, presumably to continue training at Tristar Gym with coach Firas Zahabi. “My momma cussed me out when I sent her this video on the way to Montreal,” Lee captioned the Instagram video, “If my insurance go up I know it’s because Instagram snitching.”
“The Motown Phenom” (17-5) last appeared in the Octagon at UFC Rochester in May. Lee made his move up to welterweight and lost via fourth-round submission to Rafael dos Anjos. In September, Lee announced his intentions to return to lightweight.
