In a rocky start to UFC 311 fight week, Khabib got himself kicked off a Las Vegas to Los Angeles flight after arguing with a flight attendant.
If Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to make it to Los Angeles to corner his fighters in the two title bouts at UFC 311, he’ll have to sort out a new way to get there after being kicked off a plane.
Mobile phone footage shows Nurmagomedov getting into an argument with a flight attendant on a Vegas to L.A. flight over whether he was willing to perform the duties required when you sit next to the emergency exit.
The issue reportedly started when the flight attendant asked him if he was willing and capable of performing the duties associated with sitting next to the emergency exit. That involves following crew commands and possibly helping open the emergency door. Nurmagomedov reportedly didn’t understand what she was asking on the first few requests, leading her to ask him to change seats.

“Okay so what we’re gonna do is we either gonna have you switch your seats, because my flight attendants are not allowing you to sit in the exit row,” the flight attendant can be heard saying. “Or you’re gonna have to get off this plane.”
“When I was in check-in, they asked me do I know English,” Khabib countered. “And I say yes. Then why you guys do this?”
“I understand that, but it’s also off of their judgment,” she replied. “I’m not gonna to do this back and forth. I’ll go call a supervisor. You can either take a different seat or we can go ahead and escort you off the plane.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from the plane, and may have to drive to Los Angeles depending on whether he was banned from immediately rebooking a flight due to the disturbance. Let’s hope he doesn’t have to go right back to Las Vegas due to the wildfires.
Not a great start for “The Eagle” on UFC 311 fight week, where he’s set to corner both lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and bantamweight challenger Umar Nurmagomedov in the two title fights on Sat. Jan. 18th.
