Khabib nurmagomedov has been in England for the Arnold Sports Festival.

Former UFC lightweight champion has been in England recently, speaking at The Arnold Sports Festival.

During the trip, while he wasn’t being ambushed by Georges St-Pierre, ‘The Eagle’ had time to visit the ground belonging to one of England’s most legendary football clubs. Check out the video below as Nurmagomedov got the VIP treatment at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.

While there he got to hang out with two of the biggest stars of world football, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba.

When asked about his relationship with Manchester United, Nurmagomedov admitted that he wasn’t a fan of ‘The Red Devils’, but was more of a fan of football in general.

We didn’t get any footage of Nurmagomedov with Ronaldo on this trip. However, the pair are friends and have spent time together in the past.

During this recent trip Nurmagomedov also got to chat with iconic former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who lead the club to a record 13 Premier League titles and is considered one of, if not the, greatest football managers of all time.

During a speaking engagement Nurmagomedov revealed that he turned down some wine from Ferguson (who is a known oenophile). Nurmagomedov does not drink alcohol for religious reasons. However, he told a crowd that the excuse he gave Ferguson was that he might “smash everyone” if he gets drunk.

Nurmagomedov’s love for football is well-known. Earlier this year it was rumoured that Nurmagomedov had signed a contract to play with third-division Russian side FC Kamaz. However, the fighter and his management shut down the rumour.
