Brock Lesnar’s great athletic genes run in the family.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight champion and former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion began his athletic career best known for collegiate wrestling and American football endeavors. Lesnar ultimately turned to the professional wrestling scene, where he joined WWE in 2002, became an instant superstar, and became the youngest WWE champion in company history at 25.

In 2023, Lesnar has wrestled sporadically in programs with Omos and Cody Rhodes. This past week, however, Lesnar’s 21-year-old daughter, Mya Lesnar, left her place in the history books at her college, Colorado State. As seen in the abovementioned video, Lesnar broke the school record in the indoor women’s shot put, hitting an 18.50-meter mark.

Brock has been notoriously sheltered regarding his personal life and doing interviews in general. At this time, there’s no knowing if Mya has an interest in combat sports as her father did. Whether or not Mya makes any crossover in following her father’s footsteps in some facet, she’s clearly got a knack for sports.

Loose speculation around crossover potential has built since UFC and WWE were brought under the same umbrella by Endeavor this past April 2023. In Lesnar’s case, however, he’s publicly said that his time in the Octagon is behind him now that he’s “too old” at age 46.

Lesnar retired officially following his brief return bout with Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016. “The Beast” won the fight by unanimous decision to snap his two-fight losing skid, but ultimately saw the result overturned to a no contest after he tested positive for clomiphene. Lesnar has appeared somewhat regularly in WWE since.
