Lewis (25-7) and Gane (9-0) got up closer and personal at Friday’s faceoff, ahead of their Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Interim Heavyweight title fight taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Sat., Aug. 7, 2021, via ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV).
“I’m going to bang his ass up,” Lewis assured UFC commentator Jon Anik in a short interview.
Jose Aldo, Pedro Munhoz, Michael Chiesa, Vicente Luque and the rest of the UFC 265 fighters also faced off after posing for fans.

The winner of Lewis (No. 2) vs. Gane (No. 3) will be the rightful challenger to UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou’s crown. Other notable bouts on the card include ranked bantamweights Aldo vs. Munhoz in the co-headliner, plus Chiesa vs. Luque, Tecia Torres vs. Angela Hill and Song Yadong vs. Casey Kenney.
