It’s been a chaotic month for Conor McGregor.

The injured Irishman was forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 303 main event bout versus Michael Chandler just last week. He’s been building back to that comeback for almost three years, but a broken pinky toe forced McGregor to weigh his options. Ultimately, he decided not to compete injured — a stark contrast to the “anyone, anywhere, anytime” approach he utilized early in his career.

McGregor has faced criticism and backlash for the decision, but he’s not letting that get him down. The defiant superstar showed up at the Bellator Dublin event not long ago in style, making his way into the arena amidst a swarm of attention. Looking closely, McGregor’s famous strut does seem to have a bit of a limp in it …

Of course, McGregor wasn’t just there to spectate (or get into fights with the referee). He walked team mate Sinead Kavanagh to the cage, where she ultimately lost via second-round submission. He’s also likely there in support of Irish prospect Paul Hughes, who is scheduled to fight any second now.

Stay tuned to see if McGregor gets into any extra curricular mayhem while at the Bellator event. It wouldn’t be the first time!
