Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley sweeten the pot for their Showtime PPV pro-boxing match.

If the idea of losing isn’t bad enough, Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul have agreed to permanently etch the results of their professional boxing fight in ink.

Paul and Woodley came face-to-face at Showtime’s kick-off press conference on Thursday, ahead of their pay-per-view headliner at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, on Sun., Aug. 22, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, streaming online via Showtime pay-per-view (PPV). Paul, flanked by his Transformers-like robot, roasted Woodley for refusing to accept a wager to double up their fight night purses.

“I did [want to] but I didn’t want to let you get the fking upper hand,” Woodley told Paul and the media (h/t MMA Fighting). “At the time you said that, I’m like damn that sounds appetizing. I didn’t want to let you get that moment.”

“So how about this, let’s make a new bet right now,” Paul retorted. “Let’s make a new bet — if I beat you, you have to get ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattooed on you. But if you beat me, I get ‘I love Tyron Woodley’ tattooed on me and you have to post it on your Instagram feed.

Woodley paused and considered the arrangement.

“Deal or no deal? Are you confident or not?” Paul asked. “This guy has no f*cking confidence.”

“Y’all think I should do it?” Woodley asked the media in attendance. “Bet. Deal.”
