Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight punching bag, Artem Lobov, was on location earlier today (Tues., April 2, 2019) for a special media workout in advance of his Jason Knight showdown in the main event of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 5, going down this Sat. night (April 6) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
Not coincidentally, former IBF and WBA world boxing champion Pauli Malignaggi, who signed with the Bare Knuckle boys just last month, was also on hand and to the surprise of no one, the shit hit the proverbial fan at some point during the festivities.
Here’s another look:
Malignaggi went after Lobov and utter madness followed. Good thing we have peacekeeper Anthony Johnson in the house pic.twitter.com/euoLLqi3tf

Lobov and Malignaggi have beef from summer 2017, when Conor McGregor was training for his Floyd Mayweather showdown in Las Vegas. After the “did he or didn’t he” knockdown controversy, Malignaggi left the “Notorious” fight camp under not-so-great terms.
McGregor remains under contract with UFC and is not in any position to fight Malignaggi, even if he wanted to, but Lobov was recently granted his release and will likely take that contest in June, regardless of how he performs against Knight.
Assuming they don’t end up brawling in the parking lot before then.
