And that’s assuming I was safely behind one of those bulky chest protectors the umpires wear at home plate. Nevertheless, “Noodles” — the flabby fan featured in the video above — was fearless when “Super Samoan” slugged him for reasons not yet explained.

Not only did he live to tell the tale, he jumped around to celebrate said survival.

That’s impressive, especially when you consider the kind of bone-crunching damage an unprotected Hunt punch can register (sample).

It will be interesting to see if Frank Mir can get away with a similar tactic when he collides with Hunt at the UFC Fight Night 84 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which takes place on March 20, 2016, on FOX Sports 1 from inside Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia.
