For an MMA announcer, nothing could be worse than messing up a fight decision in the cage. Well, actually, you could always mess it up twice.

That’s exactly what AFC’s cage announcer did on Wednesday night in Anchorage at Alaska Fighting Championship 139. Channeling his inner Steve Harvey, the announcer declared David Booker the winner by decision. But before the announcer could even finish reading Booker’s name, he corrected himself with a quick “excuse me, my bad” and awarded Elijah Terrell the victor.

He wasn’t done there, though. After some handshakes and consoling, the announcer revealed he had read the scores right, but the winner wrong (again) and Booker was given the decision win.

“My bad, I called it wrong,” the announcer said. “My bad. I got the scores right, I got the winner wrong. My bad, my friend. I’m sorry.”

It’s safe to say Terrell, who was making his pro MMA debut on the night, probably didn’t expect to have his first win last a mere few seconds.
