Tyson Fury put an end to his Deontay Wilder rivalry with a thunderous knockout in the eleventh round of their WBC heavyweight title fight last Sat. night (Oct. 9, 2021) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and thanks to the wonder of smart phones, fan footage continues to trickle in across most social media platforms.

In terms of boxing pay-per-view (PPV) events, Fury-Wilder 3 was about as good as it gets.

“I want to apologize to all the fans who spent their money to see such a boring fight,” Top Rank promoter Bob Arum joked at the post-fight press conference. “I have never seen a heavyweight fight as magnificent as this.”

Here’s another look:

Heavyweight headliners Dillian Whyte and Oleksandr Usyk are the current leading candidates to face Fury at some point in 2022.

“As worthy as any trilogy in the history of the sport,” Fury said about his Wilder feud after all was said and done. “I wanted to show some love and respect but he didn’t show it back. That’s his problem. I’ll pray for him so God will soften his heart.”
