Perhaps just as anticipated as the title fights at the top of the BKFC card in Marbella, Spain was the battle of MMA media members, as Oscar Willis took on Ben Davis in a lightweight bout on the main card.
Willis ultimately took home the W via TKO after dropping “The Bane” four times in the opening round.

Willis landed hard early, bringing pressure from the get-go. After two clinches, the Brit was able to get Davis near a corner and scored a knockdown. “The Bane” got up, but Willis quickly got him back to the mat.
Another right hand brought Davis down for the third time in the round. In the closing seconds of the first frame, the American was knocked down a fourth time. Although he beat the 10 count, the referee had seen enough to wave the fight off.
Willis, a content manager for The Mac Life — the news outlet of former two-division UFC champion and BKFC part-owner Conor McGregor — had a lone amateur MMA fight in 2022 before taking this bout.
Davis, a commentator for Anthony Pettis’ APFC promotion, lost a grappling bout with Brad Boulton and was knocked out by Gabriel Silva in a boxing match in 2023. Earlier this year, he scored a decision win over Zuriel Rudi Ayo in Karate Combat.
