Manny Pacquiao’s son gets in reps with another all-time boxing great, Canelo Alvarez
If having Manny Pacquiao as a father isn’t a good enough resource, Emmanuel Pacquiao Jr. can also draw from the genius of professional boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez.
Pacquiao Jr. recently got some reps in with Alvarez. Video of the younger Pacquiao, 20, was posted to social media. In one clip, which you can watch below, Pacquiao Jr. works with Alvarez’s coach before the reigning unified super middleweight world champion gets involved.

The 42-year-old “PacMan” has five children: Emmanuel, Mary Divine Grace, Michael, Israel, and Queen Elizabeth.
Pacquiao (62–8–2) officially retired from professional boxing in September after declaring his candidacy in the 2022 Philippine presidential election. He retires with a 3-2 run in his last five fights, beating Keith Thurman, Adrien Broner and Lucas Matthysse, but falling short against Yordenis Ugás and Jeff Horn.
Alvarez (56–1–2) is scheduled to defend the WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight titles; while challenging for the IBF super middleweight title against Caleb Plant. The fight will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada on Sat., Nov. 6.
