Over his combat career with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Robbie Lawler has collected countless knockout victories inside the Octagon, making him one of the most dangerous and exciting fighters in the Welterweight division.
Before he heads into his headlining fight against Colby Covington this Saturday night (Aug. 3, 2019) at UFC on ESPN 5 in Newark, New Jersey, UFC has unveiled Robbie’s top five knockout performances.
Without further ado, here they are.
5. Knockout over Josh Koscheck at UFC 157 in 2013.
4. Knockout win over Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 in 2015.
3. Knockout over Tiki Ghosn at UFC 40 in 2002.
2. Knockout victory over Jake Ellenberger at UFC 173 back in 2014.
1. Head kick knockout win over Bobby Voelker at UFC on FOX 8 back in 2013.
Now, Robbie will look to add another highlight reel finish in an attempt to break his two-fight skid against his former training partner in Newark. With a win, “Ruthless” could very well slide into the championship mix.
Covington, meanwhile, is trying to earn his long overdue shot at the undisputed 170-pound title, and he will get just that if he can get through “Ruthless” and collect his seventh straight win.
