Video: UFC veteran Rony Jason assaults downed woman at a party in Brazil

UFC featherweight Rony Jason was captured on video punching a downed woman during a party.

UFC featherweight and The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 1 winner Rony Jason has been caught on video punching a woman on the ground during a party in his hometown of Quixada, Ceara, Brazil.

The video was posted on YouTube on Sunday by Tudo Sobre MMA and shows Jason not only hitting a woman several times, but having to be held back by many other men. So far, there have been no announcements from the UFC or Jason regarding the incident. It is unknown whether or not Jason is still on the UFC roster.

Rony Jason has a history of aggression. After being knocked out by Jeremy Stephens in 2013, he punched a wall out of frustration and had to go to the hospital to get stitches. The Brazilian Athletic Commission (CABMMA) suspended him for 30 days following the incident.

Winless in the last three years, Jason’s last win came in March 2014, when he TKO’d Steven Siler. His 2015 submission win of Damon Jackson was overturned when Jason tested positive for a performance enhancing substance. The 33-year-old last fought in March of this year, losing a decision to Jeremy Kennedy.
