Despite soundly beating Colby Covington, and breaking his jaw, at UFC 245 Kamaru Usman is set to defend his UFC welterweight title against ‘Chaos’ for a second time. That rematch is slated to take place at UFC 268 on November 6.

After beating Covington in 2019, in his first title defence, Usman then defended his belt against Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns. He rematched Masvidal at UFC 261 in April and won that bout with a thunderous KO.
Since losing to Usman, Covington has only had one fight in the Octagon. That bout, versus Tyron Woodley, ended in a TKO win for Covington (due to a rib injury suffered by Woodley).
In addition to Usman vs. Covington 2, UFC 268 is expected to feature Rose Namajunas vs. Zhang Weili 2 (for the UFC strawweight title) and Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler.
