Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market this Sat. night (June 6, 2020) with the UFC 250: “Nunes vs. Spencer” mixed martial arts (MMA) event from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC 250 will be headlined by the women’s featherweight title fight pitting reigning division champion, Amanda Nunes, against top 145-pound contender, Felicia Spencer. Both athletes are front and center in the latest “Countdown” special embedded above.

Joining them are 135-pound co-headliners Cody Garbrandt and Raphael Assuncao.

Nunes (19-4), who also wears gold at 135 pounds, has pretty much murdered the competition in both weight classes, racking up 10 straight wins with seven violent finishes. That includes knockout victories over Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg, and Holly Holm, just to name a few.

As for Spencer (8-1), she’s no stranger to the best the featherweight division has to offer, having already gone toe-to-toe with 145-pound smashing machine, Cris Cyborg, back at UFC 240. While she came up short on the judges’ scorecards, “Feenom” is one of the few fighters to lose to the Brazilian without getting knocked into next week.
