Watch Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje square off after their UFC 254 press conference on the beaches of Fight Island, Abu Dhabi.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will defend his division title against the No. 1-ranked contender in the 155 pound division, Justin Gaethje, in the UFC 254 pay-per-view (PPV) main event tomorrow night (Sat., Oct. 24, 2020) inside Flash Forum on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.
During the pre-fight press conference featuring Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, and Dana White, the promotion squared off the two main event fighters for press photos. Everything remained very cordial between the two with Khabib touching Justin’s arm a few times and the two shaking hands.
FOR THE UNDISPUTED TITLE.

Justin Gaethje also didn’t seem too comfortable holding his interim lightweight title next to Khabib, handing it off as soon as he could so he could be seen as the uncrowned challenger he still feels he is.
“I want that one,” he says, pointing at Khabib’s belt.
Adesanya vs. Costa this isn’t.
But, when you have a fight between such high level opponents like this, you don’t need all that drama. The drama of best versus best is more than enough.
