Check out Glory Kickboxing’s #3 featherweight Giga Chikadze pick up an 8-second KO in an MMA match this past weekend.
Coming out of Rafael Cordeiro’s Kings MMA, Glory Kickboxing’s #3 ranked featherweight, Giga Chikadze, scored a one-punch knockout, in a swift 8 seconds, at Gladiator Challenge this past weekend. The quick finish of Anthony Ross moves Chikadze to 2-1 in his MMA career, to compliment his 5-2 record inside of the GLORY ring.
The match began with Chikadze extending his arm, in what looked like an attempt to touch gloves. Ross was not concerned with touching gloves, rather he wasted no time in launching a leg kick in Chikadze’s direction. Ross threw out one more naked leg kick, before Chikadze uncorked a crippling right hand, that sent his foe into fetal mode.

What’s next for Chikadze? Following his first round KO of Victor Pinto at Glory 37 back in January, Chikadze told Bloody Elbow about his desire to face Robin van Roosmalen, Glory’s recently stripped featherweight champion, for the vacant title. With Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao winning the featherweight tournament at Glory 39 this past Saturday, Chikadze may have to wait for his shot at Glory gold.
