Watch unseen footage of Tyson Fury preparing for his rematch with Deontay Wilder.
Tyson Fury didn’t want anyone to see him training for the Deontay Wilder rematch, but now that the fight is over, ‘The Gypsy King’ has given BT Sport the thumbs up to share some of his training footage.
The reason Fury didn’t want this video to be released prior to the bout was because the 31-year-old was working on an unconventional gameplan to catch Wilder off guard — and it worked.
The usually lightfooted heavyweight opted to fight Wilder in the centre of the boxing ring rather than stick and move as he did in the first bout, which saw both men fight to a draw in one of the most entertaining boxing matches of 2018. This time, however, Fury overwhelmed Wilder with aggression from the opening bell and TKO’d ‘The Bronze Bomber’ after his corner threw in the towel in the 7th round.
Fury swapped British coach Ben Davidson for Sugar Hill Steward, who specializes in the Kronk boxing style.

Fury is expected to fight Wilder in a trilogy bout later this year after it was confirmed that ‘The Bronze Bomber’ will be exercising his rematch clause.
