Vinny Magalhaes to fight twice for Titan FC in 36 days

Vinny Magalhaes’ busy schedule just got busier.

The UFC veteran, who won a MMA fight in Mexico on July 19, has a grappling match scheduled for this Saturday at Metamoris 4 and a title fight coming up at Titan FC 30, got one more bout.

“Vinny is stepping up to fight Dustin Jacoby in the co-main of the August 22nd card,” Titan FC president and CEO Jeff Aronson told MMAFighting.com. “He’s a true company guy.”

Magalhaes, who is set to take on Keenan Cornelius in a no-gi match on Aug. 9 and booked to meet fellow UFC veteran Jason Brilz (22-5-1) for the vacant Titan FC light heavyweight title on Sept. 26, will fight later this month.

“He’s going to fight back-to-back fights assuming he’s healthy,” Aronson said. “Vinny is a tough dude, he just wants great fights and to stay busy.”

Magalhaes (11-7, 1 no-contest) meets Jacoby (9-3) at the co-main event of Titan FC 29 in Fayetteville, NC. Magalhaes vs. Brilz headlines the Titan FC 30 show in Cedar Park, TX.
