Bloody Elbow has all the details on Andy Ruiz Jr vs. Anthony Joshua 2 right here, including fight card, fight time, live stream info, results, and more.
We are about to witness a monstrous heavyweight rematch of what will undoubtedly go down as 2019’s Upset of the Year. Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) was a huge favorite against Andy Ruiz Jr (33-1, 22 KOs) when the two fought in June, and why wouldn’t he? Joshua looked like the best heavyweight in the world, Ruiz had never beaten a top-level fighter before, and he was taking the fight on short notice. Ruiz shocked the world by knocking Joshua out in the seventh round, winning Joshua’s WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles in the process.

Now on December 7th in Saudi Arabia, the rematch is on. It’s a high stakes matchup that will mean a lot not just to the fighters, but their promoters. Andy Ruiz is with PBC and could find himself in a unification bout with Deontay Wilder in 2020 if results play out favorably. Joshua is looking to get his belts back and Matchroom Boxing wants that semblance of leverage back when talking about making a Wilder or Tyson Fury fight happen.
Ruiz is still the underdog, albeit much smaller than last time. On the scale, he’s heavier than last time. Ruiz weighed 268 in the first fight, and admittedly with clothes on, he was 283. Meanwhile, Joshua has slimmed down from 248 to 237 lbs. Don’t be fooled by Ruiz’s physique, because he can box quite well and he proved he has the power to rock and stop the Brit.
Here are the basic details on the how you can watch this highly anticipated rematch, where you can catch a live stream, start time for the main event, and more.
