The “Countdown” has begun.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market for the first time in 2025, courtesy of the upcoming UFC 311: “Makhachev vs. Tsarukyan 2” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for this Sat. night (Jan. 18) inside Intuit Done in Inglewood (Los Angeles), California.
In addition to the 155-pound headliner pitting reigning division champion, Islam Makhachev, opposite top-ranked lightweight contender, Arman Tsarukyan, the UFC 311 fight card will also feature the bantamweight title fight between newly-minted kingpin, Merab Dvalishvili, and undefeated nemesis, Umar Nurmagomedov.
The promotion has a contingency plan in case the local wildfires continue to wreak havoc on the surrounding areas.
“Well, if the fire gets bad, we’re coming to Vegas,” White told Adin Ross. “We’ll move it to Vegas if gets too bad. As of now, it’s all a go. NBA is gonna go this week, we’re gonna go.”
