Undefeated Bellator MMA welterweight Dillon Danis, perhaps best known as Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach, was arrested over the weekend in Seaside Heights, NJ, following a barroom scuffle that led to his eventual arrest on the charge of disorderly conduct.
To make matters worse, a new video has surfaced of Danis being choked by what appears to be a security officer or bouncer. As the video shows, the man has an air-tight rear-naked choke on Danis — a multiple-time grappling champion — before other people come in for the assist.

Danis, 28, was eventually released from custody and will undoubtedly have a future fight inside the courtroom. As far as his actual combat sports career, it’s been non-existent over the last two years, having not competed since defeating Max Humphrey in the very first round at Bellator 222 back in June 2019.
Danis is 2-0 as a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, winning both fights in the first round by way of submission, both under the Bellator MMA umbrella. When and where “El Jefe” decides to mount his cagefighting return is still unclear.
