See another sterling performance from Michael Chandler before his UFC 257 debut this weekend.
UFC 257: “McGregor vs. Poirier 2” takes place tomorrow night (Sat., Jan. 23, 2021) at Etihad Arena on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi. The show is available via ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) at the usual start time of 10 p.m. ET for the main card and is headlined by a rematch between Conor McGregor (22-4) and Dustin Poirier (26-6, 1 NC).
Second from the top is former Bellator MMA star and three-time Lightweight champion “Iron” Michael Chandler (21-5) in his promotional debut against Dan Hooker (20-9). Chandler is currently on a two-fight win streak and hopes to make it three in a row to quickly work his way into UFC’s elite at 155 pounds.
“Quick work” is something Chandler is very familiar with, having finished his previous two fights with first round knockouts. Here for your viewing pleasure is his fight from Bellator 237 in Saitama, Japan, where he only needed 2:59 to finish off Sidney Outlaw.
