Friday, April 13, 2012 7:30pm ET featuring Absolute Action MMA presents “Absolute Action MMA 25 – 2 Year Anniversary” emanating from Florence, Kentucky. In the main event, Andrew Fogg (7-0) fights Ryan Debelak (4-3) for the AAMMA Heavyweight Title. Fogg is the reigning and defending champion and this will be his first title defense since winning the championship in 2011 by armbar. Fogg has stopped all of his opponents either by strikes or submission holds and is the top amateur heavyweight prospect in the region. For Debelak, this fight will be a big test for him as he is going up in weight having previously fought at light heavyweight. Add to that facing an undefeated fighter in Fogg and on paper it looks like quite a challenge. But Debelak is a game fighter with heavy hands and he knows how to finish his opponent if he hurts him. Expect these two gladiators to throw caution to the wind as the cage closes and the title fight begins. In the co-main event, Justin Decker (4-1) battles Adam Fritz (2-1) for the AAMMA Bantamweight Title. Decker is dropping down from featherweight so he should be the bigger fighter come fight night. On a 4-fight win streak and with his only loss coming via a tough decision, Decker has shown a great wrestling and submission game. He is a finisher and will try to take Fritz out early. For Fritz, this is a tremendous opportunity as only 3 fights into his career he is fighting for a title. Fritz is coming off a tough decision loss in his last fight that could have gone either way, and both of his victories are by tapout (armbar and triangle choke) so this bout could prove to be a chess match on the ground.

Friday, April 13, 2012 8:00pm ET featuring CFA 6 “Palomino VS Warfield” from the BankUnited Center on the campus of the University of Miami, Florida. In the main event, Luis “Baboon” Palomino (18-7) battles James “The Unbreakable Heavy Hitter” Warfield (19-9) in what is sure to be a grueling match as these two gladiators are skilled enough to fight for any promotion in the world. Palomino is a Bellator veteran and mixes up his striking and ground game which makes him a tough draw for any 155 lb fighter. Palomino is a fan favorite of South Florida and will have the hometown behind him as he takes on the always dangerous striker Warfield who has knocked out and submitted a who’s who list of some of the Midwest’s finest fighters. Both Palomino and Warfield like to bring the action to their opponent, so look for fireworks early from these two as they meet in the middle of the cage and let their hands go. The winner of this bout will finally get his do on the national and international scene as this bout could be on any card in North America. In the co-main event, Abe Trujillo (7-4) fights James Edson Berto (15-8-1) in a lightweight contenders match. Trujillo is on a two-fight win streak and looks to continue that against Berto. Berto will be a huge step up in competition for Trujillo though and that is something he is going to have to deal with right at the beginning of the fight as Berto is relentless in his attacks. The Elite XC veteran Berto, lost a tough decision to main eventer Palomino and a convincing win here could put him right back in title contention. For Trujillo, a win over the experienced Berto will make fans and promoters alike take notice of the rising prospect and finally give him the respect he feels he already deserves. Both competitors will have their backs against the wall in this fight and do everything in their power to make a convincing statement at their opponent’s expense. Don’t blink.

Friday, April 13, 2012 11:00pm ET featuring Ultimate Reno Combat 32 from the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino. Reno, Nevada. 12 bouts scheduled for this event. The #1 rated amateur event in the Nation! Come see tough local favorite Oscar Ramirez, always exciting Kathryn Davis, Sinjen Smith, Cedric Jackson and beautiful ring girl Paige Vanzant makes her long awaited MMA debut!!!

Saturday, April 14, 2012 10:00pm ET featuring Armageddon Fighting Championships, AFC 8 – “Vengeance” at the Bear Mountain Arena in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. In the main event, Corey “The Hatchet” Gower (3-1) battles Diego Wilson (5-1) in a bantamweight scrap. Gower is known for being a well-rounded fighter as he has finished fights on his feet and on the ground. A true bantamweight, Gower is always full of energy when the opening bell rings and has great cardio to go three full rounds. That might be his advantage in the fight. For Wilson, he is definitely a grappling expert as 4 of his 5 wins have come via submission (the 5th came via TKO) and is someone who likes to put immediate pressure on his opponent. The only time Wilson has ever gone to decision is when he suffered his only defeat, a tough decision loss for a title. Wilson will look to correct that mistake and stop Gower before the end of the fight. If Gower can withstand Wilson’s initial onslaught he might be able to wind down his opponent and get a decision or even a late stoppage. This should be a barnburner of a main event. In the co-main event, Karl “The Viking” Bergen (5-0) fights Adam Smith (3-0) in a welterweight tilt. The undefeated Bergen likes to do some fancy transitions on the ground to set up a kimura lock, something he has finished multiple fights with, while Smith likes to utilize the rear naked choke, a hold that has finished more than one fight for him. This could be a grappling classic from these two Canadians, or the ground games could cancel themselves out and it could be a wild striking matchup. Either way, somebody is getting their first loss in this battle of undefeated fighters.
