Ben Askren shows off his lip-synch skills and delivers his own version of 2015’s pop hit “Hello.”

It’s been more than two years since talks between Bellator champion Ben Askren and the UFC failed to ever really get started. With offers from what appeared to be a possible eventual stepping stone and a promotion that would drive him largely out of the target US fight fan market on the table, Askren opted to go the the latter route. He signed with Singapore based ONE FC. And ever since then, he’s used any and every opportunity to take shots at the UFC and their fighters for passing on the opportunity to bring him into the welterweight division.

He’s only fought 3 times over those last two plus years, with first round finishes over Bakhtiyar Abbasov and Nobutatsu Suzuki and a no contest most recently against Luis Santos. He was supposed to rematch Santos back in November of 2015, but some conflict between Santos and ONE FC, including an apparently badly missed weight cut by Santos has left Askren’s next bout up in the air.

So, perhaps with a little extra time on his hands, Askren is trying his hand at a new art. He didn’t write it and he’s not singing it, but he’s doing his best to lip-synch a parody of Adele’s “Hello,” taking shots at the UFC, Dana White, and (of course) Johny Hendricks. Give it a watch.
