Simon & Garfunkel, Hall & Oates … Punk & Guida?!?
CM Punk and Clay Guida have harmony, in the same way Biz Markie had harmony when belting out the chorus to “Just A Friend.”
But that’s okay, because the point of singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” is to have visiting celebrities get their shine, and the two mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters were on hand to promote the upcoming UFC 225 pay-per-view (PPV) event this Saturday night (June 9, 2018) in Chicago, Illinois.
Where Wrigley Field is located, home of the Chicago Cubs.
Punk battles Mike Jackson on the UFC 225 main card — much to the chagrin of interested observers — in what amounts to just his second Octagon appearance since hooking up with UFC back in late 2014.
Guida, meanwhile, collides with Charles Oliveira on the UFC Fight Pass portion of this weekend’s big shebang. “Do Bronx” is a late replacement for the M.I.A. Bobby Green (more on that here).
