The UFC flyweight champion was animated, to say the least, when her sister fought Andrea Lee at UFC 262.

UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko is known for her cool and calm demeanour in the Octagon, one that often leads to either a devastating knockout or an assuredly dominant decision victory. However, now we know that this demeanour does not carry over to her corner work.

At this weekend’s UFC 262 Antonina Shevchenko took on Andrea Lee on the prelims. Shevchenko lost that bout after ‘KGB’ was able to lock in a fight ending triangle in the second round.

The loss came despite the best efforts of her sister in the corner. UFC cameras caught ‘Bullet’ ferociously cheering on Antonina. Check it out below:

Antonina Shevchenko is a graduate of the Contender Series. She impressed on that show with a TKO of Jaymee Nievara in 2018. After that she beat Ji Yeon Kim by unanimous decision at the TUF: Heavy Hitters finale.

Shevchenko’s next fight was a split decision loss to Roxanne Modafferi. That loss was the first of La Pantera’s pro career. She rebounded from that with a technical submission of Lucie Pudilova.

After that was a unanimous decision loss to Katlyn Chookagian. Last November, she chalked up another victory with a TKO win over Ariane Lipski.

Valentina Shevchenko is currently on a seven fight winning streak, with five of those wins being UFC flyweight title defenses. Last time out, at UFC 261, she TKO’s Jessica Andrade in the second round.
