Flyin’ eyelashes.
Rose Namajunas picked up her second win in the Flyweight division last night (Sat., July 13, 2024) in the main event of UFC Denver when she defeated Tracy Cortez via a dominant unanimous decision live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
In the first round of the main event, Namajunas dropped Cortez with a sneaky left hand, and, in the process, Cortez lost her left eye eyelash when it flew through the air.

Indeed, Cortez continued to fight five rounds without an eyelash like nothing.
“Thug” Rose is riding a two-fight winning streak since losing her Flyweight debut against Manon Fiorot at UFC Paris in 2023 and is in prime position for a huge fight – potentially a No. 1 contender or a title shot. Former two-time Strawweight champion Namajunas talked all week about the possible chance of becoming a two-division champion, which isn’t too far away,
Cortez suffered her first UFC loss at UFC Denver, snapping her 11-fight win streak. With the Mexican fighter being a massive fan favorite, she should return at Noche UFC/UFC 306 in Sept.
