Jon Jones retained his light heavyweight title by outlasting Dominick Reyes in a closely-contested championship showdown in the UFC 247 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which took place last Sat. night (Feb. 8, 2020) inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
But not without a ton of controversy.
In a much more dominant performance, Valentina Shevchenko smashed and trashed Katlyn Chookagian to retain her flyweight title. You can watch that fight (slowly) unfold, along with Jones-Reyes and the rest of the UFC 247 card, in the “Fight Motion” video above.
”He lost,” Jones insists. “It was close, but they say close only counts with horse shoes and hand grenades. He can try a thousand times. I believe I’ll edge [Reyes] every single time.”
