Bellator 206: “Mousasi vs. MacDonald” takes place this weekend (Sat., Sept. 29, 2018) at SAP Center in San Jose, California. The card airs exclusively on DAZN and is headlined by a Middleweight title fight with Gegard Mousasi (44-6-2), who will defend his title against current Welterweight champion Rory MacDonald (20-4).
There are a slew of intriguing bouts on the five-fight main card, including a fourth match between Wanderlei Silva (35-13-1, 1 NC) and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (37-13), as well as a Lightweight match-up between Aaron Pico (3-1) and “Pitbull” Leandro Higo (18-4).
After a rough start in his Bellator MMA debut at Madison Square Garden, Pico has reeled off three straight knockout wins (including two this year), each time facing a more experienced opponent. Former Bantamweight contender Leandro Higo is no exception, having fought in more than five times as many contests as his young foe.
The latest episode of “Unbreakable with Jay Glazer” shines the spotlight on Pico, a wrestler once dubbed “MMA’s greatest prospect” when he signed with Bellator in 2014, about another difficult match-up under the brightest spotlight possible and much, much more.
