GLENDALE, Ariz. – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official “WEC 53: Henderson vs. Pettis” fighter weigh-ins and captured images of all 22 competitors.
Today’s proceedings were held at Jobing.com Arena in in Glendale, Ariz. The same venue hosts Thursday’s Versus-broadcast event.
Several hundred fans attended the final weigh-in ceremony for the WEC, which is set to merge with the UFC following Thursday’s event. And while most of the 22 fighters were cordial to each other at the staredown, lightweight Danny Downes actually presented opponent Tiequan Zhang with a gift.
