GLENDALE, Ariz. – With five decisions in his past six trips to the cage,
WEC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz often has
found himself as the subject of much criticism.
His detractors label him a “point striker” and insist he doesn’t have what it takes to finish fights.
But as Cruz prepares to defend his title against Scott Jorgensen in the co-main event of tonight’s “WEC 53: Henderson vs.
Pettis” event, the champion insists the criticism is largely due to
ignorance and jealousy.
