By now, you should be well aware of Chris Weidman’s desire to fight UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
So Weidman, who vaulted to No. 1 contender’s status following a recent destruction of highly regarded Mark Munoz, was a bit surprised when he learned Silva had opted to make a temporary move up to light heavyweight to fight Stephan Bonnar.
“I was a little shocked, confused, disappointed,” Weidman said on FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight.”
