Friday’s main event lightweight title bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Anthony Crolla is now official.
The ceremonial weigh-ins — yes, evidently they do ceremonial/official splits in California for both boxing and MMA — for Friday’s WBA/WBO lightweight title bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko (12-1, 9 KOs) and Anthony Crolla (34-6-3, 13 KOs) are in the books. Lomachenko came in at 134.4 lbs, while his heavy underdog opponent from Manchester, England was only .4 lbs heavier. There were plenty of Crolla supporters on hand in Los Angeles, hence the smattering of boos Lomachenko received.
