A welterweight rematch between well traveled veterans ‘The Whitemare’ Marius Žaromskis (16-6, 1NC) and Waachiim Spiritwolf (9-9-1, 1NC) has been added to next months upcoming Bellator 68 event.

The rematch was confirmed by MMAjunkie.com who learned of the bout through event officials.

Bellator 68 is scheduled to take place on May 11, 2012 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. No other bouts have been confirmed for the event.

Both Žaromskis and Spiritwolf fought to a “No Contest” back in November 2010 at a Strikeforce Challengers 12 event, ending in just six-seconds after an accidental eye poke by Žaromskis.

‘The Whitemare’ has won his last two and is 3-1 since both men faced one another. Žaromskis competed last November in Sweden at a Rumble of the Kings event, winning by knockout after stunning his opponent with a somersault kick. Before that, Žaromskis fought in Japan in July earning a decision in a 175-lbs catchweight bout. The loss in that stretch came at the hands of Jordan Mein in June, at a Score Fighting Series show. The bout will Žaromskis’ Bellator debut.

Spiritwolf is 1-2 since their meeting in Jackson, Mississippi having dropped his last two matches via decision. His last fight took place last October at a Samurai MMA event in California, while the other loss came at a Tachi Palace Fights 9 show. The win came in Spiritwolf’s Bellator debut at Bellator 35 a year ago, earning a split decision win in a 176-lbs catchweight bout.
