LAS VEGAS – While the vast majority of the focus in Saturday’s UFC 114
event was settled squarely on the two former UFC champions who waged
battle in the evening’s main event, the night’s pay-per-view broadcast
kicked off with a contest that proved just as telling.
British youngster John Hathaway dominated 13-time
UFC veteran Diego Sanchez for the entirety of their 15-minute main-card
contest in Las Vegas, and at the evening’s post-event press conference, UFC president Dana
White said he has high hopes for “The Hitman.”
As for Sanchez, White said he hopes “Nightmare” will head back where he
belongs.
